Always 1st rate...
Always 1st rate service from BUDS. I haven't fired the weapon system, but it feels tight.. and not much bulk to it.

On a sliding scale...
On a sliding scale with Tisas in the top teir of cheap 1911's, RIA in about the middle, and the old AMT's and other out of spec complete garbage guns from the 80's and 90's at the bottom, I would put the Centurion 11 between the RIA and the Tisas. Out of the box the gun was gritty and had a 7.5 lb trigger pull, decent slide to frame fit, and a definite 'not done yet' feel to it. On detailed inspection of the parts after a complete strip down it seems like the manganese finish on these was put on a bit thick which is something that should go away after a few hundred rounds. I fixed the trigger with a Wilson factory plus sear and disconnector, and a new trigger that isn't coated in phosphate. It now breaks at a clean 4 lb. The sear spring was literally stuck in the gun and taking it out actually broke it, so I had to replace that too. I put spring kits in all of my new guns, especially the budget imports. I noticed the springs that came in it look pretty good though. It feeds from a variety of magazines just fine, so reliability seems good. These are made by Alpharms, which has been in business for 30 plus years according to their website. As a basis for a project gun, which is why I bough it, I think this is a decent buy.

I bought the 9mm...
I bought the 9mm Centurian 14 and liked it so much, I had to buy its sister, the 45 acp Centurian 11. They are my two favorites. Yes, I have Rugers, a Sig, etc. etc. But I love these two sister's; Centurian 11 & Centurian 14. I will make no upgrades to either one. I will enjoy them in their current practical Browning design.
