This firearm is...
This firearm is beautifully made and its craftsmanship is superb. However, as someone else wrote in another review on a different model from this company, "what did you expect, it is a Colt". Who would not be impressed with a Colt Government Model 45. Its history alone makes it priceless to a handgun enthusiast. It is advertised wrong as noted. It is not a compact firearm, but a competition, full size, Colt government model, series 70 1911. I have nothing negative to say however, being a left handed shooter, I wish that the slide safety was ambidextrous. I am very pleased with the handling, feel, and function of this firearm. And, as usual, Bud's service and customer care in purchase and delivery is next to none!
