Always a 1911 shooter since being a Marine in the 1980's. This Colt is very nice. Solid shooter. Accurate right out of the box. Weight and balance good. Just a great gun. Bud's as always great to deal with.

Using Buds was a smooth gun purchase experience and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. The Colt Combat Unit Rail Gun I purchased is a great gun which I am happy with. Comfortable and accurate and fun to shoot. I would prefer less of a matte black finish with a bit more shine, but the finish is as intended and a quality application. The only real complaint is the trigger pull - definitely the heaviest of all my Colt 1911s. Easily more than seven pounds (but not yet actually measured). For a gun at this price point I would expect a better trigger pull.
