I love Buds they are...
I love Buds they are always great. The 509c runs like a champ only complaint is that it did not come with the 24 round mag. I was a little disappointed to see it didn't have the mag but other than that I love it.

Great firearm, battle...
Great firearm, battle tested and proven reliability. Feels good in the hand. My only gripe and it's not the gun's fault, is that a dedicated holster for the model is near impossible to find unless it's a special order to be custom made. I only ever find offerings for just 509 Tactical. But great gun. 10 round mags suck, so if your state isn't a capacity compliant one get the option for the 12, 15 and 24 round version. Made that mistake and had to order each one through the FN store.

Q: My questions isn't about the current item although it's a new gun. With strict gun laws such as universal background checks will this effect gun transfer purchases online? Will I deal with hassle beyond the standard background check? Such as long wait periods and high magazine removal.

(1) ANSWER
A: Most new gun laws grandfather in guns that were purchased prior to the new laws taking effect. Universal background checks really won't change the way you transfer a firearm from an ffl to yourself, they are mainly trying to create a comprehensive list of all guns and gun owners, amd the way to do this is require background checks for all transfers and close any exclusions, for example here in Oregon I can sell a firearm I own to a blood relative with no background check no ffl or transfer fee, so the government has no record of who currently owns that firearm, universal checks would require me to take my family member to a ffl and do a transfer/background check, it doesn't change the existing background check. Just makes them mandatory for all sales. And as far as bans and "High capacity" which really aren't high capacity they are "Standard capacity" there are still people fighting for our rights in the House and Senate, and there are many of us that WILL NOT COMPLY!!!!!!!!!!
