Before purchasing...
Before purchasing check this out. First of all, this is another FINE weapon by Girsan, have 4 more models. A couple of things did bug me though. The main thing is if I'm not mistaken the description does not mention this model is a barrel bushingless type. I most likely would have looked at another model if I knew and now in the future will do more research. Actually, I didn't really know they even existed and when I got ready to do my pre-cleaning breakdown, it kind-of tripped me out...lol....just didn't know they even existed. Manual DOES NOT have instructions how to break it down either, just instructions for bushing type (that sucked) so had to Google and really not much on the how to except brands involving a tool. Any who, found one, did it and it's MUCH easier with bushing type folks, especially if hand strength isn't like it used to be......research which it is before purchasing. the second thing really ticked me off. I went to pick it up at the FFL and it was rattling in the box like crazy in the box......this case is cheaper less effective than old Taurus/Ruger cardboard.....good grief....the box flexes CLOSED, two 1/16" pieces of foam (no cut out foam). No damage to weapon thankfully...just shook around side to side to side.....I even called EAA and let them have it.....Never received a Girsan in such a CHEAP box. One really good thing is, it is 7 1.....NOT 6 1 as described. It's an ACT-MAG 7rd (7-window) mag......just one mag (described) but sucks not two. Haven't shot yet, but great feel and weight wise, totally awesome for carry. The magazine capacity is 6 1 on all other gun sites too?????? Oh, Buds is awesome!!!! Gave a 4-star due to magazine capacity (who's mistake, same 6 1 on all sites), barrel bushingless, no instructions how to disassemble bushingless, and cheapest case I have EVER received and fellow patriots.....I have many. That really ticked me off...lol God Bless you all!
