Better than a Taurus, as good as a Beretta. Girsan makes good guns. I highly recommend this over a Beretta. Save the money. It's literally the same gun, with a better finish.

Outstanding weapon. I am shocked at the quality of this weapon. It is equal to the Berreta 92. The grips have a rough texture that can't be seen in the photo. NO machine marks, the finish is very high quality. I handled the Berreta at a local big box seller two days before this arrived. There is no difference in quality. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN PRICE. About $225. If you have any doubts, take the plunge and buy this weapon. I will be purchasing more Girsan products. This was a test to see the quality of their firearms. Passed with flying colors!

I've always been a fan...
I've always been a fan of the Beretta M9, so I took a chance on the Girsan and was not disappointed in any way. Only put about 300 rounds through the gun so far, but performance has been flawless. Double Action trigger pull is heavy, but single action pull is crisp. I was concerned about the finger grooves in the grip, but they actually IMPROVE the ergonomics of the weapon, making for a slimmer grip profile than the M9. No regrets on this one, although it would be nice if the gun came with more than just one magazine.

A: Yes, this is a Berreta 92 clone and will work with Beretta 92 Mags. " The Regard 92 grip is the same size as the Beretta 92, but with finger grooves on the front and vertical serrations on the back to help you get a grip in extreme conditions. Additionally, the left-side safety lever has been slightly enlarged to aid in manipulation, and the double action trigger pull is actually a little smoother than that of the original. Best of all, the Regard 92 is compatible with Beretta 92 magazines. A: Yes, this is rated for+p ammunition. All manufacturers recommend limited use since +p ammunition can wear firearms quicker than regular pressure/velocity ammo but you'd have to shoot thousands of rounds to really notice a difference vs standard ammo. Hope this helps.
