Got a great deal from Bud's on this excellent Kimber 2K11. This is a very nice 2011 pistol for the price point. Very nice, indeed, I have a 2011 that I won't identify, but it was and still is, in fact, considerably more expensive than this. As luck would have it, I had this pistol at the range today and put 150 rounds of 124gr. FMJ thru it. I think it's pretty much past the break in point as I had zero issues with it. The 2K11 is a very soft shooting pistol with enough weight to absorb most of the felt recoil, with minimal muzzle rise. It has an ingenious one piece full length self capturing guide rod. By pushing the guide rod out about half way, and then with your other hand lightly pressing down and twisting the end of the guide rod it captures the spring and you can lift the entire assembly out. The grips on this pistol are very good and the trigger breaks crisply at about 4.25 lbs. ans has a short reset. It's capable of shooting accurately, much faster than I can shoot. I paired it with a Holosun H508T green dot. I like it so much I ordered another 2K11 in .45 caliber. If around $2K is your budget, this is your 2011 and Bud's is the place to get it.
