This is a great...
This is a great pistol. However, I had to send it back to Kimber for a tune up, after just 300 rounds. What a disappointment! I couldn't get through a single mag without a stovepipe or a FTF. I thought that it just needed a few more rounds in order to break in but finally gave up and sent it back. Kimber did some hand finishing, polishing the feed ramp, etc and sent it back to me. The work they did fixed the problem and now it is right as rain. I am somewhat wary of buying another Kimber due to my personal experience and what I have learned from friends with similar experiences. We'll see what the future holds.
