The MAC 9 DS is a great pistol based on the original 2011 platform. It came with good ironsights and 1 AOS RMR plate for a dot sight, 2 magazines that reportedly made by Checkmate and when I compared them with my 2011 Checkmate mags, they are identical with the exception of the engraved name. The factory recoil spring is a bit stout (feels like 13 lbs) but after I played around with a few lighter weight springs (9 and 10 lbs) I put back the OEM spring since I'm using full power 124 gr factory loads. Trigger is okay but that's easy to tune. I installed and sighted in an OSight C on the provided AOS plate, and surprisingly, the ironsight actually cowitnessed with dot sits on top of the front sight after sighted in. This MAC 9 DS is 100% so far with roughly 400 rds down range. Overall it is an outstanding product for the money, actually better value than my fairly new Springfield Prodigy Comp. BTW - Transaction with Bud's and my local FFL was flawless and quick.

The MAC 9 is great! Disappointed that my state has a 15 round mag law and it had to be shipped without any mags and I wasn't compensated for the cost of mags. Shipping was as expected.
