The SMITH & WESSON...
The SMITH & WESSON CSX, the 3.6" version, what a gun!! Just got it in from BUDS last week got to shoot it today around 250rds, it really shoots great I put a Holosun EPS CARRY on it sighted it in and shot it back to 25yds my feeling is it has lite recoil and very short and quick reset, it's really great to shoot more or less shoots like a much bigger pistol and super great as a carry gun. I will gladly be putting many more rounds through it in the future I have to say my opinion SMITH really knocked it out of the park with this one!!! If you are on the ledge of buying one I don't think you will be sorry and BUDS is the best shop to buy it from,, I hope you buy one and love it as much as I do… HAPPY SHOOTING!!!!!!

This S&W CSX E 3.6...
This S&W CSX E 3.6 inch optics ready pistol is about as close to perfect as any firearm manufacturer can achieve, at least as far as a new, out of the box concealed carry handgun. It is small but not too small. I did add the grip extension to mine because I have large hands and it fits comfortably with full purchase on the grip surface. I really like the hammer fired and "single action like" trigger-very clean, little take up and a crisp break. The pistol is plenty accurate at 15 yards with iron sights, but I added a Holosun 507K ACSS Vulcan green dot optic which fits perfectly on the slide. The bore axis is very low and helps to mitigate the recoil. When shooting 115 grain 9mm, this pistol has less felt recoil than any of my other concealed carry 9mm pistols. It is fast back on target. I recommend this pistol and would buy it again without hesitation. FYI, I am a "trigger snob" and picky about the fit in my hand. Your "mileage may vary" but this CSX E checks all of the boxes for me.

Questions & Answers
Q: I've heard that the original 3.1-inch CSX had issues with the slide lock pin being extremely difficult to remove during disassembly. Has this issue been resolved in this model? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help clear this up!

A: Good morning to you!! while some owners have faced challenges with the takedown pin, it doesn't appear to be a design flaw requiring a universal fix from Smith & Wesson. Instead, it seems to be an aspect of the pistol's design, perhaps related to tolerances or manufacturing, that some individuals have overcome through specific techniques or by simply using the firearm more. If you're encountering difficulty, consult the instruction manual and consider contacting Smith & Wesson customer support for assistance. Hope this was helpful. Have a good rest of your day.
