It seems to be a C or...
It seems to be a C or C when it comes to one's expectations for refinement. It is a solid build however. Two issues I have are the safety and mag release. They are a two handed operation out of the box. I've cleaned the weapon and still it's a two handed operation for the mag release. The safety is freed up some after many, many operation, but still very stiff.

Amazing firearm....
Amazing firearm. Probably the most accurate handgun I've ever shot. Trigger pull is very short and recoil is very low. Can't recommend this firearm enough.

Q: I just wanted to confirm this is a 1911-A1? And is there any difference between this PB9108LCA and the PB9108L? According to the California legal handgun site it seems it doesn't require the CA at the end.

A: Hi Jason, No this is the Mil Spec model which is between The Champion Operator and the Range Officer models. The only difference between the 2 models is the Ca model has a Loaded Chamber Indicator - Here's the Specs - https://www.springfield-armory.com/products/1911-mil-spec-45-acp/#PB9108L
Author: Steve P.
A: yes it is a 1911a1 model "The M1911A1 changes to the original design consisted of a shorter trigger, cutouts in the frame behind the trigger, an arched mainspring housing, a longer grip safety spur (to prevent hammer bite), a wider front sight, a shortened hammer spur" and yes I think its CA approved but it does not show up under the buds CA approved pistol list so I suggest that you contact Buds prior to ordering customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM CST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button . we are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions
