I'm going to give the gun itself 5 stars as the fit and finish is excellent, the AOS feature - not so much. The slide fitment is very tight, the trigger is very crisp and the safety is also very crisp and positive. Accuracy is excellent. I had two failures to go fully into battery during the first 100 rds but since then it has been flawless. I have read that it is recommended to replace the factory 9 lb recoil spring with a 12 lb Commander spring. One aspect of the gun that I found very disappointing was the AOS system. I was very excited to mount a Holosun 507K so I ordered the appropriate mounting plate from Springfield Armory. Those AOS plates are ridiculously expensive. I was very disappointed to find the 507K did not fit the plate properly. I knew it wasn't the sight because I had taken it off another gun on which it fit perfectly. The lug holes fit fine but it seemed like the AOS plate did not have enough clearance at the rear for the contour of the 507K. So I took out the Dremel and removed a bit of material from the AOS plate until it fit properly. As expensive as these plates are I certainly expected better fitment.
