I was hesitant to buy...
I was hesitant to buy this Taurus at first but after I put a little over 400 rounds of different brands of ammunition through it I was impressed. Even my carry ammo feed well. I'm former government employee and when I carry cancelled I don't want any print of a weapon on me what so ever and the Taurus GX4 micro compact 9 does just that.

A: No, the slide is not cut to accept red dots. Only way to mount one would be to either get the slide cut by a gunsmith or buy a mounting plate that takes the place of your rear sight. Hope this helps.

A: James, Taurus does not say on it's web site. I found one review that said trigger pull averages 4 pounds, 4.3 ounces on the GX4. Another review had a 6lb average. One reviewer on Bud's said it has a 5lb trigger pull. Reviewers are all over the place. For an accurate answer I would contact Taurus direct at 229-235-4020 or 800-327-3776. Have a great day!

A: James, trigger pull is an average 5lbs. This can vary from 4 to 6lbs. Most measurements are taken off brand new pistols. Once broken in you will be closer to 5lbs. Cheers and stay safe!

A: I know this isn't an answer to your question but just be aware that Under certain circumstances, some GX4s manufactured in the United States can discharge when dropped. For that reason, owners should discontinue use until verifying it is not among those affected. Handguns not included in this notice can be safely used.
