Tisas nailed the...
Tisas nailed the Remington Rand design with their US Army model on this one! I decided to try this chambered in 9mm, instead of 45 just to see how smooth the full size would be in the 9mm form. The verdict…this thing is so accurate and has a recoil similar to a .22 handgun! I like how basic the design is, but yet, you can feel the quality of the build. This M1911 is no slouch! The Check Mate mags that come with it have had no issues with multiple brands and types of 9mm rounds. The one issue I've experienced with it is it u release a magazine once a round has left the magazine and into the chamber, is that one round will fall loose from the magwell, along with the mag. But, if you're just cycling the whole mag, it's all going to fire. The only other thing you'll need to watch for is getting hammer bite when you're shooting it for a while…this isn't really a flaw though because Tisas just followed suit to bring the OG M1911 back and give u that same look and feel. They knocked this one out of the park. My dad absolutely loves this and wants to shoot it everytime I bring it over there. I have conceal carried this, yes you CAN conceal a full size 1911, and I trust that this would save my life. It's really a beautiful firearm and makes you feel like you have a piece of real history in your hands. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a Remington Rand at an amazing bang for the buck and will perform as such.

Another winner from...
Another winner from Tisas, functions as expected. Would have liked a slightly greener hue like the. 45 I bought two years ago. Minor quibble though, two mags and a case seal the deal.

A super-good and...
A super-good and reasonably priced 1911 clone. I'm not impressed by pretty, fancy and/or expensive, I want reliable performance. The Tisas 1911s are very good and better than most 1911 clones. Accurate out of the box, reliable, nicely finished and just simply a "perfect in every way" 1911 at an attractive price. I'm completely satisfied with these 1911s and don't have any "Buts" or "except for" comments to add. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the excellence of this one!
