The Volquartsen Mamba-X Black Mamba is a competition-ready .22 Long Rifle semi-automatic pistol built on a Ruger MK IV 22/45 polymer frame and tuned for crisp, repeatable performance. The build includes Volquartsen’s Accurizing Kit for a 2.25 lb trigger pull, a magazine-release and magazine base pad setup intended to improve feeding reliability, and a 6-inch barrel with 1/2x28 threads for a compensator. A universal red dot mount makes it easy to set up for local matches and beyond.

Wow! What an...
Wow! What an exceptional firearm!!! I had messed around swapping VQ parts in and out of my Rugers but the Volquartsen Mamba X really takes the cake. The Mamba is light weight even with a 6" barrel and your favorite red dot mounts directly to the barrel after the removal of two set screws. The single port compensator and Hogue rubber grips tame even the fiercest 22LR cartridge. The trigger is better than most ive ever fired!!! Do yourself a favor and buy one

This is a great...
This is a great rimfire target pistol. Like all Volquartsen firearms I have used, this is truly a must have gun for rimfire enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the original firearm shipped to me was not a Mamba-X but a Scorpion-X. The case label had the matching serial number and identified the contents as a Mamba-X. When I picked it up at the FFL, I didn't notice the slight difference in the frame. When I got it home and noticed the problem, I contacted Buds and after several contacts, it was agreed that the Scorpion-X would be returned, the correct model, Mamba-X shipped to my FFL and the transfer fee for the incorrect firearm refunded. The Mamba-x was shipped but Buds refused to reimburse me for the transfer fee. Apparently, Buds values $40 more than a Team Buds Member and a customer that has made a good number of purchases for them.
