The pistol has tool...
The pistol has tool marks on the frame tried to purchase walnut grips Walther told me " we don't sell grips" I explained why to cover up tool marks the person I spoke to didn't care about tool marks. No reflection on BUDS the are Outstanding.

Haven't had too much...
Haven't had too much range time yet but I like the balance and the lack of a hard recoil on this pistol. Yeah, I'm a Bond geek but I really like the feel of this gun in my hand. Not sure if this will be a daily carry or not.

A: Yes, the main difference between a Walther PPK/S and a PPK/S-1 is that the PPK/S-1 is specifically designed to comply with Massachusetts firearms laws.

A: Hi FENGHUA and welcome. The "-1" merely distinguishes PPK/S pistols made by S&W (the one that is MA Handgun Roster for compliance) from all those previously made by others, without reference to serial numbers or other characteristics. It is beneficial principally for contractual reasons, as during the Walther/S&W "Strategic Alliance", S&W was in the commercial chain of distribution for some Walther pistols that it did not manufacture. A: Hi Fengua, there is no difference. The "-1" merely distinguishes PPK/S pistols made by S&W from all those previously made by others, without reference to serial numbers or other characteristics. The 1 has nothing to do with being MA compliant, although it is on the MA approved handguns roster, as is the PPK/S Stay safe & have a great day!
