A: sorry its not even close to being NJ legal The following are prohibited: ✘Semi-automatic handguns that have the ability to accept a detachable magazine and at least two of the following features: 1. Magazine that attaches outside of the pistol grip 2. Threaded barrel 3. Barrel shroud 4. Manufactured weight of 50oz or more when the pistol is unloaded 5. A: Hi William, no sir, NJ has some of the strictest anti-gun laws in the nation. There are no AR15 pistols that are NJ compliant. If you want something like this, I would suggest visiting your local gun shop and looking at 'Others'. "Others' are NJ legal, and no pistol permit required.
