Solid rail, but no...

Solid rail, but no recoil lug. Fortunately the 8-40 screws are beefy. Mounting bases are beveled similar to a bedding block rather than form fitting, so I will be bedding this base with Marine-Tex. Good news is it is going on a light recoil rifle (6.5 Creedmoor). If you are mounting to a large caliber, look for one with a lug.
