Very high quality...
Very high quality loading dies. This is my second set of .38/.357 dies- I only purchased a second set because I am tired of having to change the setting between the two calibers, this set will be a dedicated .38 Special set. As such I immediately put them to use and set them up for my preferred projectile in .38 Special and have loaded several batches since without needing to readjust them. The carbide material does not require the use of case lube (you can still use some though and it does make sizing a little easier). Cases come out very consistent and loading is a breeze once the die is adjusted to your press. Lee dies are very nice in that they include a shell holder and some load data. They also include a powder dipper but admittedly I never use it, but you could use it if you were without a scale or were loading black powder. While the locking rings are good enough and have a rubber O-ring in them to help hold them in place I did replace them with the Hornady lock rings.

I'm a brand new...
I'm a brand new reloader and between this set, the Lee Loading Manual, hand priming tool, Lee measuring dippers and precision scale I've really learned a lot and got into it. No complaints, everything's working well. I'm just using a simple single-stage little Lee press and I go slow and visually inspect every round. Alas, I haven't been able to find primers for years.
