I've had this going on...
I've had this going on six years and carry it every day. I bought this to replace another revolver that weighed almost twice as much. I use it as a backup on duty and for off duty carry. I carry it in a pocket holster. It is so light I don't even notice it. I'vs shot a couple hundred rounds through it (mostly Department Quals.) with no issues. The grips are comfortable, compact and mitigate recoil effectively. Much better than the previous revolver I carried. The only issue I've ever had is after several years off constant carry the cylinder retention screw came loose. A little blue loctite fixed that. It's not going to win any beauty contests but I trust it with my life.

I had to drop 2 stars,...
I had to drop 2 stars, my revolver functions well and is accurate as a 2 inch 38 should be. I am very picky with my revolvers, I looked this over very well and noticed the Hornady and Remington rounds seemed to fit very loose in the 5 cylinder holes. I tried 3 of my S&W 642,649 and 686 the same rounds fit as they should. I gauged the five holes in Charter Arms and they were all larger than my S&W revolvers. Again the Charter fired OK, I would NO WAY fire aluminum case rounds due to they might split and spray bad stuff in my face! I only fire brass case rounds so its not a problem for me. \\r\ Problem two, I purchased to pocket carry in De Santis rubber holster same as I carry 642 S&W in. The Charter fits perfect but, the photo showed a set of compact hard rubber grips. When I received revolver it came with large soft rubber grips not pocket friendly. I ordered the compact grips from Charter Arms web site, twenty eight dollars and 6 days later they arrived in mail, fit was perfect. \\r\ My revolver arrived clean and untested! Why do they not test product? Other than sending 28 bucks for correct grips I never contacted Charter about any problem.\\r\ I was going to purchase a new 44 bulldog and retire my 1979 model, I've decided not to buy another Charter Arms due to above problems.\\r\ I've used Buds for years with good service from all employee's.\\r\

Q: I am curious to the H/W/OAL of this sidearm, trying to compare it to the Taurus 85 Ultralite, by weight it beats it for sure but the only other measurements I can find for the Charter is in some sort of weird foreign measurement that I don't know how to translate lol many thanks!

A: Justin OAL is 6.75". Everything else seems to be a big secret, I would contact CA at (866)-769-486 or email csupport@charterfirearms.com --- I guess zero percent of an answer is better than 1/3 of the answer. Go figure.
