Bud's ships promptly...

Bud's ships promptly and it only took a couple days to receive. At the FFL, my initial inspection was encouraging. This Pietta/Cimarron (PP410LSFW) has a fixed firing pin and a 4-click action. Balance is excellent. The exterior parts, wood and metal, fit very well and the exterior finish is very good. The laser 'engraving' is tastefully executed and the two-tone metal finish is appealing. There are some machining marks on the interior, but they're not distracting or excessive. The factory lube had hardened enough to make it very difficult to really evaluate the action and trigger when I picked the gun up at the FFL. After getting the gun home and giving it a good cleaning and oiling, I found the action to be very smooth. I cannot say the same for the trigger. When pulling the trigger, there is a distinct rough spot just at hammer drop. To pull the trigger through requires an increase in pressure and that results in uncontrollable pistol jerk. A very big disappointment that significantly detracts from an otherwise excellent handgun and earns the gun a 2-star instead of a 5-star rating.

Very nice revolver. 4...

Very nice revolver. 4 click action and firing pin in the hammer. feels good in the hand. this will be a display gun. I have other guns to fire. this one is to look at and to work the action but not to dry fire.
