Q: It says no safety visible on hammer. Hope this is a true Colt type action, only carry with 5? I don't want floating firing pin.

(1) ANSWER
A: Paul, yes, the pistols load lever is located on the right for a "Right Hand" thumb open bias Paul. Although with just a tad bit of practice, my left handed son can fire and load as fast as I can so it is definitely more ambi than most pistols.

Q: The description says early model. The picture shows a medallion, from what I read the medallion was in the pre war revolvers. Wanting a 7 1/2" barrel with the wider sights read they started using in 1920.
