A: Scott, this model has the famous COLT 4 Clicks. In the newer models of Uberti, Taylors and Pietta etc, they have gone by way of safety and use a floating firing pin and will have only 3 clicks. If you can find an older model Uberti it will also have the famous Colt 4 clicks. Q: As the one answered question dates back to 2020 I would like to again ask if this is an "Old Model" with the firing pin on the hammer, or a "New Model" with a frame mounted firing pin and safety transfer bar? Thanks much

A: This has a retractable firing pin. The firing pin is still on the hammer but retracts unless you put constant pressure on the trigger making it safe to load all 6 rounds.
