Nice gun, love me some...
Nice gun, love me some 3" revolvers. Grips are good and make it shootable altho it will prolly never see a 357 cartridge. Time to scratch that itch?

After taking delivery...
After taking delivery of the Python I went to the range to see how the gun performed and for sight in. The result was a very good session with minor sight adjustment and plenty accurate. This is the second Python with the first being the four inch barrel. The double action pull is very smooth and predictable and even under rapid fire I was able to shoot a group that is more than acceptable for defense at ranges from five to twenty five yards. In today's CCW environment many people dismiss revolvers as a viable defense option largely due to the round capacity and reloading options. I feel revolvers offer many good attributes with ease of use and with some practice with a good speed loader ( Safariland Comp 2 Model J-P3C) the ability to stay in the fight. Any weapon system has limitations depending on the purpose or where you are going to be carrying for CCW. As with any firearm proper training and CONTINUED practice will inspire confidence in you. The Python itself is absolutely a finely made revolver and something to be proud of ownership. Yes, it is pricey but this is a firearm that will provide many years of service and can be passed down to other family members. If you can swing it this gun is definitely worthy of consideration in the revolver market. It is also easy to conceal if you know what you are doing. In closing, I like to give a job well done to Buds as I'm a return customer for fast service and shipping. That's why I keep coming back……….
