It's an incredible...
It's an incredible firearm. A true hand cannon. Impractical (you can get some great .358 Mags for half the price), but gorgeous and for people like me who have always wanted one and don't mind paying the premium... It's WELL worth it. Buds is always easy to deal with and always delivers products quickly. That part goes without saying.

I've wanted a Python...
I've wanted a Python for a very long time. The Python must be held to truly appreciate its beauty. Pictures do not do this masterpiece of craftsmanship justice. You could buy any number of very nice wheel guns for much less than this one, but none would have the same feel as this magnificent Colt 6 shooter. The revolver arrived at my FFL in absolutely pristine and factory new condition, as every firearm I've ever purchased from Bud's has been. Bud's prices and fast, free shipping cannot be beat by any online firearms retailer.

Gorgeous design, the...
Gorgeous design, the action is so buttery smooth and all the machining is amazingly precise. I have tried one other revolver, an older smith. That one was nice but there's a noticeable difference in how perfectly everything feels like it fits together on the Python. Yes, the difference practicality-wise may not be different to other comparable and cheaper revolvers. However, if you like the look of the Python and it's within your budget, you won't regret it.

Questions & Answers
Q: Colt's MSRP on the 6" Python is showing $1499. Why is Bud's listing for $1999? Is Buds cost higher or are they charging a premium due to demand?

(3) ANSWERS
A: Distributors have raised their prices to dealers which means dealers like Bud's has to raise their prices, and I'm sure due to demand they've raised the price as well.

A: YES, Buds charging a premium due to demand. But the current market price on G(un)B(broker) is actually the same if not higher than Buds.

Q: I'm curious how the quality of these new guns compares to the originals? Is it made differently then say the King Cobra....or is it just hype?
Author: Matthew P.
(4) ANSWERS
A: Very good quality. Most of the problems with the new product have been ironed out mid-2020 so this works great. Of course, the original python is going to fetch higher prices and often view with better fit and finish. But this new python is great!

A: Matthew, the originals were better built in my opinion as they used fewer MIM (Metal Injection Molding ) Parts. Cheers and stay safe!
