Great little revolver...
Great little revolver -- 6 shots in a J-Frame sized package, with stock fiber optic sights! The SDR was just added to the California handgun roster in January 2026 for anyone living in the Golden State. Diamondback is really giving S&W some competition nowadays.

I had an SDR a few...
I had an SDR a few months ago but unfortunately, I had to dell it. Ordered a new one from Bud's a little over a month ago. The customer service was second to none and delivery was quick and efficient. It was also about $50 lower than what I paid for my original. It is a gorgeous gun and one I hope I will never let go. Bud's is a great place to get your weapon and a pleasure to deal with.

Questions & Answers
Q: How does .357mag and the.38spl feel, recoil wise? (I have a GP100 in 3 inch barrel and everything feels comfortable thru it).
Author: Angel R.
(1) ANSWER
A: Hi Angel and welcome. This will be slightly snappier due to the shorter barrel but manageable. There are heavy and light loads available for both .357 and .38 special to Taylor to your taste. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

Q: Does the purchase of this gun include the 3 moon clips?
Author: Rick B.
(1) ANSWER
A: Good evening to you!! No, the Diamondback Firearms SDR .357 Magnum Revolver does not include moon clips. The 9mm model of the SDR does, but the .357 Magnum model does not require them as the .357 Magnum cartridge is rimmed, unlike the rimless 9mm. The .357 Magnum model can also use .38 Special ammunition and accepts K-frame speed loaders. Hope this helps.

(3) ANSWERS
A: Good evening to you!! There should be a screw on the bottom of the grip frame. Remove that screw. Slip it off slide on new screw back on. Hope this helps.

A: Hi Rick and welcome. There should be a screw hole in the bottom of the butt. You may not see it, you might have to feel for it with screwdriver. Once the screw is removed, slide the old grips off and the new grips on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=P0D-DevqjG0 -------- Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

A: Look for the screw on the bottom of the grip. Remove and the grip will come off.
