Got my GP100 model...
Got my GP100 model #1772 from Buds in good order and was very pleased to see the blued finish which cleaned up very nicely. I must say IMHO this model with the 4.2 inch barrel is the perfect size, weight and balance for the.357/38 caliber revolver. The gun is heavy enough that with these calibers recoil is not an issue at all. The grip is very comfortable and fits my hand quite well and it's easy to get a good purchase when shooting the gun. The fit, finish and function of this Ruger is absolutely flawless, after sighting it in I was hitting 2"-3" groups at 12-15 yards….not bad for an old man. Also like the easily removable front sight ….great idea. Lastly the trigger in double or single action is as smooth a trigger as I've ever felt on a factory revolver…..smooth like butter! I would definitely recommend this revolver to anyone looking for this type of firearm.
