Let me be honest, this...
Let me be honest, this revolver is built like a tank, a little heavy for a short barrel, but soaks up recoil like you wouldn't believe. Shooting .357 magnums out of this thing is like shooting 9mm. 38 special is non existent recoil out of this revolver. It conceals well enough under a jacket. Use a leather shop ruger holster for the 4.2 inch barrel, it works well. Buds shipped the firearm to my FFL, but they had changed owners so it had to be sent back to Buds and I had to select another FFL dealer. Not Buds fault, then shipping was fast being delivered both times. Be aware mine did not like the moon clips, maybe it's a ammution thickness of the rim thing. When I closed the crane the ammo would get stuck and bind up causing the cylinder not to rotate as trying to cock the hammer. Loads well without moon clips, a speed loader would work well. I really believe tolerances on the ammo on the rim were the problem. Thanks Buds for a great revolver.
