Was shipped fast. When I first fired the 856 Defender the trigger pull was a little heavy and gritty, but after about 100 rounds it got somewhat lighter and the grittiness seems to be gone. I had heard it needs a break in period. Am pleased with it lock up is good and the cylinder to forcing cone Gap is acceptable allowances.

Buds delivery was...
Buds delivery was great as always. Cleaned it and then put about 60 rounds at the range. Trigger was not to bad after about 50 rounds and I feel it will improve as with rounds and time. Love the front sight. Pretty accurate for an inexpensive revolver and will also use it for carry. FM

I like the 856...
I like the 856 Defender 3" barrel overall. It is long enough for pretty good ballistics but still short enough for concealment. The fit and finish of the revolver seems good. The revolver has tight lockup and not timing issues. I like the Hogue grips that give a good grip but are still concealable.I have fired about 150 rounds through it without any issues. The night sight has a red circle around it, so no sight painting on this one. The night sight is visible in darkness. The fixed rear sight is narrow and can make it hard to quickly pick up your sights. The double action trigger pull is very heavy but smooth and has a definite stage to it. The single action trigger pull seems acceptable. Bud's service was excellent.
