I purchased this...
I purchased this revolver because I wanted an original SA Colt experience. It is really a beautiful piece with good current day blueing, fit and finish, and well executed case hardening look to the frame. I compared it to a friends original Colt and it fares very well to it. I cleaned and oiled it prior to shooting, and found it to be very accurate at 25 yards with the fixed sights. Hand held groups all inside an 8" red paper plate. Mine is chambered in 357 because I have other pistols in this caliber and don't need to stock another (45 Colt) supply of ammo. I shot about 200 357 cowboy loads, and it is just a hoot to shoot and then pop the cases out. Very light, no slack trigger. Easy to clean after you remove the cylinder. One reason I picked this model was the 1860 Army style grip which fits my hand and just feels right. Much better in my opinion to the smaller original style grips on most of the replicas being made. Great gun, no adverse opinions at all.
