Arrived with a chipped...
Arrived with a chipped trigger guard and--within its first 90 rounds--was so out of time and not locking up on 2 cylinders that it was striking the very edge of primers (and could've fired out of battery, a serious safety issue). Not happy, but we'll see how Pietta resolves the issue. Regardless, it's an absolute pain to send a pistol in for service. 150 year-old design, thousands made each year, and this comes out of the factory?...

Questions & Answers
Q: Is it possible to mount a scope for hunting some way?
Author: Thomas N.
(3) ANSWERS
A: Thomas, no Sir. This Single Action pistol does not have provisions for a mount without drilling and tapping.
Author: James G.
A: You would need to have it drilled and tapped by a gunsmith
Author: Randy I.
A: Thomas - Sure, anything, almost, is possible. But is it worth the price? One can get this drilled and tapped for a scope mount base at any competent gunsmith or machine shop, after purchase. That's pretty much the only way a scope can be mounted.
