I bought this AtI...
I bought this AtI Alpha Maxx because I wanted a 300 blackout rifle to add to my arsenal. I havent had any issues with thw rifle, I just didnt know it all polymer until I received it. The Alpha Maxx however does have metal bolt carrier, charging handle, and trigger internals.(The trigger itself is ploymer). It has metal reinforcements. I read bad things about the trigger on ATI guns also but this trigger feels better than I was expecting.(The hammer and internals are metal). Trigger pull feels about 4lbs, isnt spongy and doesnt have a strange wall that it hits, it feels decent for what it is. I know a better trigger drop in would be the best idea for it but it is useable. The trigger reset has a nice click to it also. The rifle cycles as it should and the buffer spring feels right also, not to soft. Ive seen where the ATI rifles need the buffer adjusted and the gas setting fixed in order to cycle, but I havent had any issue with the Alpha Maxx.(Seems to be a better built version of their ar15 style 300 blackout) Im going to give it 5 stars because I thought I made a mistake buying this rifle but I have been surprised that this Alpha Maxx does not have the issues I heard stories about. And who know with a drop in trigger and better buffer and spring, I can make this budget rifle something really sweet.
