The Bergara B-14 Ridge SP is a bolt action hunting rifle built around the accurate Bergara barrel and their smooth B-14 action. It features a molded synthetic stock and a crisp, curved Bergara trigger, with an 18 in barrel chambered in .308 Win for serious big-game performance. This Special Purpose configuration is factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700 style optics mounting.

Super smooth bolt just...
Super smooth bolt just like my B14 HMR. The shorter barrel makes it easy to manipulate and the trigger is crisp. I shot several different types of ammo in 150, 165 and 175 BTHP. I found it prefers 175 grain which had a better BC than the tipped rounds. The finish is soft to the touch and helps when manipulating the firearm. It's a bit heavy for having an 18" barrel, but with a number 5 contour, it's expected and helps with the recoil, which is tame. It's perfect for what I'll be using it for.

Very smooth action on...
Very smooth action on this rifle and it works well with a suppressor. Heavy for its size but not overweight. Best accuracy so far is around 1.5 moa, but it may improve. Wish the bolt locked closed. Would buy again.
