Very nice rifle,...
Very nice rifle, straight pull bolt works great! Beautiful wood stock. I really splurged on this one and I am very happy. It's a real tack driver!

My experience with the...
My experience with the Browning T-Bolt I bought was a mixed bag-though the rifle was impressively accurate, the overly heavy trigger pull (6 pounds) made it difficult to realize it's full potential. Adjusting the trigger did no real good so, after some agonizing, I voided the warranty, disassembled the trigger assembly and, relieving the trigger spring tension a bit, got pull weight down to about 4 pounds - this with the action removed from the stock. With the rifle reassembled, trigger pull varied from 4 to around 6 pounds so disassembled it again, found a couple of places where the stock appeared to be constricting the cheap plastic trigger assembly housing, carefully sanded them and tried again. This seemed to improve things a bit but pull weight still varied from 4 to 5 pounds so gave up and ordered an after-market (JARD) trigger. I haven't yet received the trigger assembly so don't know if this will magically resolve things but if it does, it seems a shame for Browning to manufacture such a nice looking, (mostly) well-fitted, accurate rifle with such a lousy trigger.
