What a beautiful...
What a beautiful firearm. Pretty much flawless in every regard. Took it outside yesterday 12-27-21 and rang some steel gongs & water bottles at 25 yds outside the garage. Sights were spot on, cycled well & trigger was crisp. Couldn't be happier. Cimarron/Uberti make some gorgeous firearms that are a joy to own & fun to shoot. Trappers don't stick around long but Buds had one when I was shopping and at a great price to boot.

I purchased this 1866...
I purchased this 1866 Uberti knowing that it would need disassembly and cleaning/deburring of internal parts before shooting. Also, it did not have the newest loading gate that is less prone to breakage of the small tab on the backside. \\r\ \\r\ In all fairness to Uberti it is extremely well fitted and finished on the outside and the inside was much better than the older Uberti lever guns that I have owned.
