Always wanted a...
Always wanted a classic looking 1873, and this did not disappoint. The quality of the wood, the fit, the bluing on the octagonal barrel, the color case hardened look on the receiver, the smoothness of the action, all very impressive. Fun to shoot! Highly recommend. Just FYI, the design means quite a few tiny screws for disassembly / reassembly.

I could not be more pleased. The fit and finish on this rifle is impeccable. I have been shooting and collecting firearms for 50 of my 65 years and this firearm is amazing. The attached picture was at 50 yards… I would feel comfortable hunting deer with this out to 75 or 100 yards.
