Well made, accurate, and fun to shoot. Low recoil with .357 Magnum. Non-existent recoil with .38 Special. Only complaint is how difficult it has been for me to add a Skinner front sight.

If you need a 75 yard...
If you need a 75 yard gun that is capable of killing a deer for a kid.......this is the best option you will find. This little guy has ZERO recoil and is just a ball to shoot. I bought it for myself and took it to the range with my 11 year old and he took it away from me.

A: Eve, it is a 22 inch tapered Barrel (Sporter Profile). It will be fine in the Pistol Caliber 357 Magnum/38 Special . They are much less pressure compared to actual rifle calibers.

A: it is a standard tapered barrel profile. its a single shot so it will not be fired super fast. barrel heat will not be a issue

Q: The specifications on Bud's say nothing regarding this rifle being drilled/tapped for mounting optics, but the Henry Arms website lists this model as being drill and tapped -- I just want to verify whether the H015-357 that Bud's is selling is in fact drilled/tapped.
