I hate the fact that I...
I hate the fact that I didn't buy this rifle sooner. Out of the box I put 50 rounds through it with flawless performance. It's a little front heavy, but nothing that your average person can't compensate for. Every action of this rifle was clean and smooth. Red dot optic was easily added. I was in love with this thing 5 rounds in. A definite must have in the 45 colt/lc caliber of rifle!!

The gun looks and...
The gun looks and feels great. However I had a MAJOR issue with the quality. I have never had a gun fail to feed directly out of the box…until this rifle. It has failed to feed every single round, and the only way to get a round out of the magazine tube is to apply gentle downward pressure on the elevator…the issue with this is that it then causes it to double feed, causing one or both rounds to get caught in the extractor and therefore rendering the gun useless until you clear the failure which has proven extremely difficult- sometimes requiring me to use a screw driver to try to pick or pry the cartridge out. I was so happy to purchase this gun but so far it has lived it's entire life at the gunsmith, waiting to hear back on what the fix is. If it is too involved or expensive then I will have to send it back to the factory. Hoping for a good outcome.

Q: How easily could one replace the stock with something more light weight and adjustable (aka 'tacticool')? Some guys that i shoot with at my local range want to start some competition shooting amongst ourselves and lever gun is one of the things we're probably going to include. I'm short with short arms and stocks of this length are tough for me when shooting fast. It's got everything I want otherwise....

A: removing and reinstalling it is easy, your issue will be finding something that fits the gun typically lever action stock are short but i can not find any listing for lop I suggest you check with Citadel to see what the lop is https://citadelfirearmstore.com/contacts/
