Received the combo at...
Received the combo at my FFL with no issues. I took it out and this thing is a gem. I followed the barrel break in procedure (time consuming but highly recommended) and this thing got better and better with every shot. I boresighted it at 50 yards and my first three shots were within a half dollar of the bullseye. I moved it to 100 yards and the grouping was that same. Made one adjustment and the next three were all within a quarter on the bullseye. Then I moved it to 200 yards and the groups were identical at about 1/2" below the bullseye (still need to learn bulletdrop etc.). Although there are some bad reviews on the Nikko Stirling Targetmaster scope, I did not have any complaints. For what I use it for (mostly hunting or shooting around 500 yards max) I think it will serve just fine until I can afford a higher end scope. The only drawback and the reason I only gave it 4 stars was because it did not include the sunshade as depicted in the picture. Everywhere I have read the Targetmaster comes with the sunshade. I contacted Buds but they could not help because it is up to the manufacturer on what they decided to include or not include. I have contacted Leagcy and Nikko Sitrling but never received a response and probably won't. All in all this is a great gun and scope combo. Just know that It may or may not come with all of the items depicted.
