Ruger is doing it right with the marlin brand. Action is smooth. Finish is dark and uniform. Stocks are inletted perfect and tight. Shoots great and sights were on from the factory.

Thank God the Marlin...
Thank God the Marlin quality is back! Everything about this rifle is awesome. The walnut stock and forearm are beautiful, and the checkering is flawless. The bluing is amazing too. I've put a few rounds through it, and I was impressed with the smooth action. I'm hoping now Marlin will bring back the 35 Remington. Buds was great to do business with as always.
