Hello All, If you are looking for a good rifle that will not break the bank in 6.5 Creedmoor stop looking and buy the Mossberg Patriot from Buds. I looked for other dealers to purchase this rifle, but Buds had the best deal at the time I purchased. As for the rifle the trigger was great out of the box and felt well balanced in the hand. I wanted the rifle to remain lightweight, so it was fitted with a LPVO from Bushnell, 1-6 power. Like most people I hunt within 250 years so 6.5 Creedmoor would be more then flat enough to need a tactical scope of any kind. Most of us never get a chance of shooting at a deer more than a couple of times, so I use three shot groups to ensure I am on target. The guy from Backfire is an idiot for thinking a rifle need to hold well with 5 shot groups. Here are my results with 3 shot group. All the shooting was done once the rifle reached the outside temperature and not shot again after each group until the rifle cooled back down again. My three shot groups Hornady Precision Hunter 143gr. .82 inches, Winchester Hunter XP 125gr 1.1 inches, Hornady ELDM 147gr 1.57inches, Hornady Whitetail 129gr. .78 inches and Sellier & Bellot Softpoint 140gr. .68 inches. A few weeks later I could back to the range and the result were for all purposes the same. Overall, Mossberg Patriot is a nice rifle with a great look. I would be happy to recommend this rifle from Buds to anyone. I have been Hunting over 30 years, competitive shooter, firearms instructor. Keep hunting, Mr. Collins
