I am a IBS, NRA and...
I am a IBS, NRA and PRS competitive shooter who literally never purchases factory rifles. In an effort to better my shot calls in the wind I purchased this rifle as a trainer. Just for practice on windy days. I did not expect it to deliver match accuracy, but that is what the rifle is delivering. I only use hand loads, and with a 68 to 70gr bullet this rifle is consistently delivering groups in the 3's and 4's at 200 yards. Whats even more interesting is after 100 rounds I decided to take a look at the bore to see what shape its in. From the throat down the bore looks as expected. Even ware and signs that the bore is not fully burnished in yet. I expected that. The shocking part is the throat. Very heavy ware on one side of the throat bore and three of the lands. The opposite side has very little bore contact and only contact and ware on the center of the other two lands. Throat was either cut crooked with a finishing reamer or the chamber is off center to the bore. Every time I have seen this in the past the gun typically will not shoot competitively. At best delivering 3/4 moa accuracy. But this rifle shoots lights out. This is a first for me and I have to say that I will not have the same opinion towards factory rifles in the future. I have 200 rounds through the bore now and the rifle is delivering consistent, almost 1/4 moa accuracy. I say almost because its slightly over 1/4 moa but well under 1/2 moa. Well worth the money.

I'm impressed with the...
I'm impressed with the overall quality and accuracy of this rifle. Out of the box sub-moa accuracy with 69gr projectiles. The 1/9 twist appears to stabilize bullet weights from 55 to 69 grains. The trigger is heavy from the factory, but adjustable. It has virtually no creep, and breaks cleanly. The muzzle end of the barrel is reduced in diameter and is threaded 1/2" 28, which is correct for .223 muzzle devices. It's not a 5/8" thread. The fit and finish is generally good, but practical rather than overly pretty. The HS Precision stock could have a higher cheek weld, but it's serviceable with a low mounted scope. A 56mm objective scope will fit if mounted using a Farrel base and matching low rings - it's close, but it fits.
