Shipping was fast. Once sighted in this ruger was shooting sub moa groups at 100 yards. To say I'm pleased is a understatement. For a inexpensive gun she looks a shoots great. The only complaint was the bolt was a little rough but took that roughness out with oil and many cycles.

Q: I live in the state of commie Washington and I don't know if I can buy this ruger American gen 2 rifle, because of the threaded barrel and the installed brake. Does this make it an assault rifle in in the user of washington?

A: I did not see anything that says no. Bolt action rifles are not "assault rifles," AR actually stands for Armalite Rifle. a brand name.
