Q: Does the added length of the barrel help increase the muzzle velocity of the normal. 45 caliber round?

A: Hi Tracy and welcome. Yes it does. You normally see an average of 35fps to 60fps increase velocity per inch of barrel depending on the bullet weight. Heavier bullets on the lower end and lighter bullets on the upper end. Cheers and stay safe!
