I got this rifle and...
I got this rifle and it came with iron sights. The bolt is very tight on closing but cycles fine and groups 1MOA with cci 40gr fmj, also the trigger is the best of any remfire I've ever shot!

Worst gun purchase...
Worst gun purchase I've ever made at Bud's Gun Shop, due to manufacturer's (Savage) poor quality control. I cannot recommend the Savage B22 .22 WMR rifle to anyone as the gun is unusable. The bolt closure action is so tight it cannot be closed for shooting as I have experienced with my other bolt-action rifles. Literally, the rifle must be dismounted from the shoulder and placed in a body position where a great amount of effort can be applied to close the bolt completely as needed to release the trigger for the next shot. As a critter hunting rifle, this is unacceptable and Savage should be ashamed to even place their name on this gun. The bolt action should have been tested before it left the factory. Not too sure what to do next, but I have a pretty large and heavy paperweight at the moment.

Questions & Answers
Q: Can I shoot 22 long in this rifle?
Author: Llewellyn D.
(1) ANSWER
A: Liewellyn, no. The 22 magnum case has a larger diameter over the 22 LR and should not be fired through a22 magnum Chamber. It;s the very reason 22 Magnum/22LR Combo revolvers have 2 separate cylinders - both 22Mag and 22LR.
