Shoots great and I...
Shoots great and I love the trigger. I bought it for my left handed nephew, and he will love it better than the right handed rifle he has now.

It is genuinely hard...
It is genuinely hard to find left hand bolt action rifles. Savage does a fantastic job executing this rifle. It's affordable, accurate, and a great improvement from the mark 2 series. The new stock is an improvement with only one downside. The butt pad is hard plastic and there's no rubber butt pads available for it. You can fix this with talon grips material, to give some more stability to shooting it. I definitely recommend this savage to the lefties out there.

A: Nope, Savage and Ruger different magazines
Author: Ric F.
A: No — the Savage B22 does not accept Ruger 10/22 magazine magazines. The magazine catch, feed geometry, and mag well are different. The B22 uses its own proprietary rotary magazines, which are shared with the Savage A22 series.
Author: Kevin M.
A: No, the Savage B22 does not take standard Ruger 10/22 magazines. The B22 uses a proprietary Savage rotary magazine designed specifically for the B-series and A-series rifles, which is not interchangeable with Ruger's rotary or higher-capacity magazines. Because the internal mechanisms and locking lugs are completely different, standard Ruger 10/22 extended magazines (like the BX-25) will not lock in or feed properly. If you are looking for higher-capacity options for a Savage B22, you will need to seek out extended magazines specifically manufactured for the Savage A22/B22 platform, such as the Butler Creek Savage A-Series 25 Round Magazine.

A: Hi Luis and welcome. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with Ruger 10/22 magazine. A22 and B22 use the same magazines.(just change the 9 at the beginning of the link to a g) -- https://9rabagun.com/butler-creek-creek-14.html ---------- Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
