Really disappointed...
Really disappointed with this purchase. When I took the rifle out of the box I thought I was sent a used one. The rifle was filthy with dings in the stock and small scratches in the receiver. Looking at the packaging I could tell the rifle and the bolt had been out of the box before I received it.It was obvious the bolt had been cycled many times. The rear sight was loose in the bag with the rifle, not attached to the gun. The allen wrenches for the sights were missing. I have a few Savage rifles and I know they do not leave the factory like this. Where the serial number is engraved in the receiver was RUSTY! I sincerely believe I was sold a well used display gun, not a factory fresh new rifle. I was able to touch up the stock and receiver to look ok. Have not shot the rifle yet. I hope it shoots better than the way it was shipped to me. Would give zero stars if I could.
