Wow! This is the...
Wow! This is the prettiest firearm I own. I know...you may say guns aren't pretty...but I say you're wrong. This thing is gorgeous. I have a few nice Sigs and a couple Springfields and a couple Rugers and a pair of nice CZs...as well as a bunch of S&W revolvers (including some Performance Center pieces). None of them make me feel like this gun does. I haven't shot it yet but I'm looking forward to it. The bore was pretty dirty when I got it which only says they test fired it before they packed it up. I was looking at the new Henrys that have the side loading gate as well as the tube loader but none were available because of them being sold as soon as they arrive. I looked at several other options including Marlin but all the reviews put the Uberti at the top of the list. I went to a local gun store to handle a Henry that had just come in and I wasn't crazy about how gritty the action was. I know the Henry is made here and the Uberti is Italian...but so is Beretta and Benelli...and they are top notch manufacturers so I had no problem ordering the Uberti. Ok...I'm rambling on but you should know that you won't be disappointed if you buy one...even though they're a bit more expensive than the competition.

A: Wayne, Standard SAAMI Pressure 357 Magnum loads are recommended by Uberti. I have shot Buffalo Bore and Underwood Heavy 357 without issue but for safety and warranty reasons, always ask the Manufacturer directly as they will know best.

The .357 Magnum round is pushed to greater ballistic performance (add about another 600 fps and another 500 ft-lbs of energy, give or take) as well as a wealth of ammunition choices.
