This is a lightweight...
This is a lightweight and fun rifle. With the right ammunition, it's pretty accurate. Similar to the Ruger 10/22, this is what the Ruger should've evolved into, in my opinion. I have a couple Ruger rifles, but I actually like this one better. It's easy to clean and disassemble, the magazine interchanges with Ruger magazines, it's got a last round bolt hold open feature (doesn't work with the Ruger magazines though), and I like the ghost ring sight. If you've got a young person or wife looking to join you at the range, this is a perfect choice. I know…made in Turkey…. It's a .22lr rifle. It hasn't had any issues, but I've only fired a few thousand rounds through it so far, so it's still pretty new. This is definitely worth the money and it's extremely enjoyable and inexpensive to shoot.

Great gun. Bought this gun for a new squirrel gun. Put a vortex on top of it. Shoots like a ruger. My fiance shot her first grey squirrelbat 64 yards!

Q: Does this fit extended ruger 10/22 mags?
Author: William W.
(2) ANSWERS
A: Hi William and welcome. Yes, the Wildcat is compatible with Ruger 10/22 magazines and their many aftermarket companions. If you want to plink away at the range, the Wildcat readily accepts the larger 25-round magazine from Ruger, Butler Creek and others. These magazines just lack the last-round hold-open capability of the supplied Winchester magazine.
Author: James G.
A: Yes, the Wildcat also uses the Ruger BX magazines.
