buds shipped this gun...
buds shipped this gun very quickly as usual. I got this over under to shoot sub gauge at clay tournaments so didn't want to spend 1000s on something I would only shoot a few hundred rounds a month. The wood is nice, and the balance is good and shoots and swings well also getting ejectors on a sub $1000 gun is also a plus. Now the bad, I went to take out the choke tubes and the top barrel tube came out with a grinding noise like it had metal shavings in the threads. the choke in the bottom barrel was very hard to turn and made an even worse grinding noise. once I got the choke out, I found the threads were damaged. both barrels had metal shavings in them. I cleaned up the top barrel and works fine now, bottom barrel I had to use a thread chase to clean up the threads and works decent now. the barrel rib has some sharp corners. I didn't want to send it back to the manufacturer and wait months for it to be fixed. Overall, for $600 it's a decent gun for shooting clays but I don't expect it to last through 1000s of rounds.
